Another sign of the difference between Obama vs Rmoney inc. The Rmoney gang is getting a lot of publicity for their canned "can drive". OFA had a link to the red cross donation site and ane email about the link before Sandy landed, which effectively leverages their impressive fund raisning organization to really help. (which reminds me of something I have to do). I haven't heard much about this from the mainstream media.
Something like 3-4 million individuals have donated to the DCCC and/or OFA. Sending the equivalent of a pizza to the red cross is not a huge amount of individual cost (usually) but summed to gether makes a big difference.
